'They failed' Pakistani girl who was shot by the taliban speaks at U.N

16 year old pakistani education activist ,Malala Yousafzqi who was shot in head by the Talibans,speaks at U.N Youth Assembly in New York.The U.N has now declared july 12 'Malala's day'.
The youngest Nobel peace prize nominee in the award's history was wearing a pink shawl that belonged to slain pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto,stood before the United Nations and made calls for women and children's education just nine months after talibans tried killing her by putting a bullet through her head.

Her speech was stirring and message clear after undergoing a surgery and a procedure to restore her hearing.She said 'they thought that the bullet would silence us but they failed........weakness,fear and hopelessness died.Strength,power,courage was born'...........she spoke for more than 15 minutes and was giving a standing ovation after closing with a call for action.
