25 India children die of food poisoning

25 children(aged from 4-12) and a cook died of food poisoning and many more needed hospital treatment on Tuesday in a school at Mashraich village in the district of Chapra,India.Reports by the doctors treating the children says that the food was contaminated with organophosphorus compounds(which are used as pesticides).
The education minister told reporters that 'the school headmistress fled after the deaths became known and was dismissed'.Protests later broke up in the streets as people accused the government of acting the slowly to hospitalize the children.The cause of the disaster is now being investigated by the state government while it has promise to offer $3,400 to the families who lost their children.
