Army seizes petrol tanker in kebbi loaded with weapons

The army has announced it has seized a petrol tanker loaded with arms in kebbi state in a joint operation with men of the state security service.
The items recovered from the oil compartment of the petrol tanker are 3 AK 47 rifles,1 RPG-2,nine AK 47 magazines,2 bombs,3 RPG charges,790 rounds of 7.62mm of special ammunitions,a suspect was arrested but two escaped.
Police report says the suspect told them he was paid 500,000 naria to deliver the weapons to sokoto and also said that the owners of the weapon had threatened to kill his family.
