U.S sprinter Tyson Gay and Jamaica Asafo Powell fails drug test

Tyson Gay,30,and former 100m holder Asafo Powell have both failed drug tests.
Gay,who was notified by the US anti-doping agency on Friday told him that his sample 'A' that was taken in May came back positive while Jamaican sprinter Powell tested positive to a banned 'substance' while competing in June Jamaican championships.
The 30 year old Asafo Powell was the fastest 100m sprinter holder before fellow countryman Usian Bolt broke his record in 2008 but Powell later helped Jamaica to win gold in the 400m relay at the Beijing olympics.
Meanwhile Tyson Gay who is now holding the record for the fastest man in 2013 is still waiting for his sample 'B' results but the 30 year old U.S runner has already withdrawn from next month's world championship in Moscow.
But so far Asafo Powell has denied using banned substance saying 'i am not now or have i ever been a cheat' .Tyson Gay also said in a statement 'i don't have a sabotage story.......i basically put my trust in someone and was let down'.The USADA said in a statement that the sample 'B' results of Tyson Gay will be processed shortly.
