7 U.N peace-keepers killed in sudan

On saturday,7 U.N peace-keepers were killed and 16 wounded when they were ambushed in western sudan,a spokesman for the U.N mission in Darfur said.Reinforcements later arrived on the scene to save the wounded which included two female police advisers.
According to reports by UNAMID(an agency set-up to protect civilians in Darfur) said that the mission has lost 51 peace-keepers since it began its operation in 2008.
