Chris Brown, 24, is being charged by a Los Angeles prosecutor with a hit-and-run and driving without a driver’s license after he rear-ended a woman in May.
When the incident occurred, the artist stopped to assess the damage on the woman’s car and alleges he provided her his information.
It’s not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous,” Brown tweeted today.
Brown is already facing legal problems for allegedly violating his felony probation for assaulting Rihanna  in 2009.
If the court finds Brown guilty his recent hit-and-run charges, he may have to serve jail time. According to a Los Angeles County district attorney spokesman, the charges will be reviewed once notified by the city attorney.
Meanwhile, Brown has taken to Twitter over the past few hours in an attempt to clear his name:chris browns tweats
